Team Practices:

Sept-March: One 60 Minute (30 minute full-ice & 30 minute shared-ice) practice.

Nov-Dec: One 60 Minute shared practice (before Performance Training)

Jan-March: A second 60 Minute (30 minute full-ice & 30 minute shared-ice) practice.

Performance Training (additional ice):

Sept-Oct (6 Weeks): 60 minutes all-Pee Wee travel pre-season development practice utilizing stations to develop skills and tactics including power skating, stick skills and specialized goaltending instruction.

Nov-Dec (7 Weeks): During this period the team is sharing a 60 minute team practice with the Pee Wee AA team and has small-group development immediately after practice.

6 weeks, 30 minutes each session for skaters: Players will have three weeks on–ice and three weeks off-ice training. Half of the team’s skaters will work with Mike Hartman on the Puddle Rink and the other half will work with Joe Cardarelli in a dryland situation to develop the player’s shooting and puck handling skills.

8 Weeks, 30 minutes each session for Goaltenders: Meeting every week on the Puddle with Brian Haaland to work on their skills.

Members of the CHL

CHL expects teams to play 2-game weekends during the season.

CHL and Non-League Weekends: Five Home, Five Away.

Two Invitational Tournaments including the Queen City Tournament.
In addition, the Pee Wee A team will have 4 hours available for practice on the Puddle Rink, will play in two Crown Town 3v3 Cross-Ice Showdowns and have the opportunity for players to participate in three skill clinics of their choosing during the season.
